OSX 10.7.5 and iPhoto '11 9.2.1. Upgrade?

I would like to order a photo book via iPhoto.

However, the upload does not work at all.

I thought I need to upgrade iPhoto to the latest version. How can I do that?

When I click software updates, the system tells me my software is up to date.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Which version of iPhoto do you currently have, Nina?

To order a book you need iPhoto '09, version 8.x.x. or iPhoto '11, version 9.x.x.

Upgrading early iPhoto '09 or earlier versions is no longer possible from Apple, because Apple stopped selling iPhoto. You could buy an iLife '11 installer from Amazon or eBay, that would install an early iPhoto '11 version, and you can update it from Apples downloads page up to iPhoto 9.4.3, but not beyond that.

If you already own an AppStore version of iPhoto '11, you can update to the current release for Yosemite:

Barney-15E's user tip explains how to update to iPhoto 9.6.1 by reinstalling your purchase. See this link: Get iPhoto 9.6.1 if you didn't update before OS X 10.10.3
