3 USB mic recording at the same time

Question

3 USB mic recording at the same time

Looking to do a 3 person podcast with 3 usb mics and cant figure out how to use all 3. i can get 2 to record at the same time but never all 3 . PLEASE HELP. I have tried on GarageBand 6 and 10

iMac, iOS 8.4

i have 2 yeti and one snowball and When i switch to the mono channels i can only get one yeti and the snowball to work . How can i get both yeti and the snowball.

having never tried to use two identical devices, so all i can do is guess...

since only one is showing up in the list at left, it would seem that either: the second one isn't properly connected (perhaps a bad port, or not enough power from the USB port), or OS X has an issue with the identical devices and in fact can only detect one of them
