Since Win10 is newly released Apple has not yet released a Win10 certified Boot Camp Assistant or updated Windows drivers.

Bootcamp 5.1 works well with Windows 10 (I have it running on my iMac 27"). Bootcamp 6 will be available with official Apple Win10 drivers today. Use software update to get the new Bootcamp Asst. and then build a USB to install the new drivers. If your Mac is pre-2012, you may not get the new update, but 5.1 still works with Win10.

Already on that, Lee. Have just finished updating to 10.10.5, but Boot Camp Assistant has no mention of upgrading to Boot Camp Assistant 6.0. Must be only for the Boot Camp driver download. There are two updates for 5.1.57xx.

I am having this problem as well. Is there a version of bootcamp that works with Windows 10? I could not find that Microsoft had another version for sale, so that is what I purchased. But, I'm getting this error when I attempt to run bootcamp:

"Boot Camp only supports Windows 8 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 8 or later installation."

I have a Windows 10 ISO file on my desktop, but they do not appear to be compatible. HELP?!

BC Assistant on the OS X side will download the version appropriate for your Mac that supports Windows 10, as long as your Mac is supported for Windows 10 (in the list in Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support) .

Apple Software Update on the Windows side will also do the same.

Check Product Version in Bootcamp.xml after you use BCA to download it. It should be version 6.0.6133 or higher.
