Photo does not appear in Photos

Photo does not appear in Photos

Sent downloaded photo from my Imac (Yosemite 10.10.4) to Photos (1.0.1) (one of the options offered) but it does not appear anywhere in Photos. Had no problems when performed this task in iPhoto. Any suggestions?

We can not see you so what exactly did you do and step by step how did you do it?

Have you looked at the bottom of the All Photos list?

Downloaded a photo from my email and you are offered several options for what to do with the photo (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Photos, etc.). Clicked on Photos. Expected it to appear at the bottom of the All Photos page or in Latest Imports or even as its own album. It is nowhere in Photos.
