How do I turn off iCloud storage notifications, on my ma

My macbook pro (Yosemite) recently started to tell me that my iCloud storage was running out, and was soon to stop backing up my macbook and my iPhone. I upgraded to the 20gb option through my iPhone; now every time I turn on or restart my macbook pro, it tells me it's no longer updating my iCloud and that I need to upgrade my storage. But I already did that through my iPhone! It even shows on my macbook pro that it's a 20gb plan. So, it's not like iCloud isn't working, it's that fact that it keeps giving me a useless notification, and it's seemingly annoying.

This is exactly what I'm seeing

Do you want to stop using iCloud? The user "Dustin" is using this iCloud account and password to login into this mac.

If you sign out of iCloud, you will need to create a separate password for this mac.

-Then there are options to cancel or to stop using iCloud.

and when I press stop using it's then wanting me to put in a new password, verify, put in a hint for it too.

OK, so it is asking you to create a password for the User Account. Under System Preferences>Users & Groups, for your User Account, you selected "Use iCloud Password" for the password to unlock your System Preference options in order to change them. So, it is just saying that you need to create a User Account password for the Mac.

Once you sign the iCloud account back on again, you can go to Users & Groups in System Preferences, click on your User ID, then on "Change Password" to re-select "Use iCloud Password".
