I bought a brand new iPod nano 2 days ago and when i was looking on google about it, it says that it is suppose to be Version 1.0.3 and my iPod says 1.1 why is that? Could it be refurished?

Does yours say 1.1 or 1.0.1?
It says 1.1.1 and that supposedly the latest system for iPod 7th generation? But i was told that its suppose to be 1.0.3
