Every time i try to go to the Itunes store my computer freezes.

Itunes store freezes my computer my mouse wont work and i have to hit the power button. I updated my drivers... nothing i followed all of the steps on the unexpected crashes and stops link and no dice. I even refreshed my entire laptop and re downloaded everything and nothing is working. i have windows 8.1 and before the latest update it worked fine. now i cant even get back to the older one. Please help?
