how do i remove previously downloaded apps from my itunes purchased list?

I am using the newest 12 version of the iTunes on windows. I have read old post about hovering/ right clicking above an app in the iTunes App store and clicking the "x" to delete. I am unable to find any option to delete the history or list of previously downloaded apps that I found useless. I used a feature in google play that removed from list. I am new to iOS with my iPad and IPhone 6 plus, so I am sorry if this is an easy solve. Please help if you can.
