DesktopsApple has dropped support for Safari on Windows years ago. If you are able to find any place to download Safari for Windows, it will be completely out of date especially for security.

iPhoneThere is no Safari for Windows 10. It was discontinued years ago.
If you were using an old version of Safari for Windows on your laptop before updating to Windows 10. You should no longer be using it. Use Firefox, or Chrome instead.

iPhoneYou may want to try Microsoft's new Edge browser for Windows 10. It doesn't support extensions yet but does work very well and is already on your Windows 10 computer.

Dec 14, 2015 7:51 AM in response to peterh11by Phil0124,As said, Safari for Windows was discontinued years ago by Apple.
If you are using something on Windows 10, it is unlikely ot be Safari. Possibly Internet Explorer, or even Microsoft's new Edge browser.
The last version of Safari for Windows was Safari 5, and it cannot be installed on Windows 10 at all. Its not even available for download from Apple anymore.

Dec 14, 2015 12:39 PM in response to Phil0124by Allan Eckert,I would not be so sure of that. You might want to read http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/back-from-the-dead-using-apples-abandoned -safari-for-windows-today where they say that the ancient version of Safari will run on Windows 10.

Dec 14, 2015 3:26 PM in response to Allan Eckertby Phil0124,Interesting...
Thanks for the link.
I stand corrected. It can be installed.
Though I would still be weary of using such an old browser. If only for its lack of security updates.

Dec 14, 2015 4:03 PM in response to Phil0124by Allan Eckert,OH! I am in total concurrence with you about it being of questionable usefulness both from how old it is which implies security problems but also the questionable sources from which this version would now have to be obtained from.

Strange, I have Windows 10 and running Safari 5.1.7 (7534.57.2)
You shouldn't be using it. It's 4 years out of date, no longer supported, and a huge security risk. Please use a current browser, such as Edge, Opera, Firefox, Chrome....take your pick. Just because Safari can work on Windows 10 means nothing.

Feb 18, 2016 7:47 AM in response to ultradivby Phil0124,The fact that it can be used, does not mean it should be used.
As already discussed above, its old and has not been updated in several years. As such it is very insecure, and many websites will complain it is to old and to update it.
Since it cannot be updated, the best course of action is to use a different currently updated browser.

Apr 26, 2016 4:04 AM in response to jeffreyfromfayettevilleby Vincent.Hanny,Yes you can install Safari on Windows 10 (Safari 5.1.7)! However, why you would is another point. Safari runs rather sluggish under Windows 10 as well as a lot of security holes. There's a reason Apple no longer supports Safari for windows 10. So to end the debate, yes, you can install on Windows 10. Should you? Probably not. That's just my advice.
