Q: if you delete icloud account but keep apple id will my new phone have all contacts?

I purchased a new iphone 6.  Ihave an apple id and a different icloud account.  I want to only use my apple id on my new phone to retieve my apps, contacts and info from my old iphone 4.  i deleted my icloud account on my old iphone 4.  Will all my info get to my new iphone6 from entering my apple id?
