Not able to send photos in Skype using Photos app

I agree with you. I have been asking the same question. of course we can save any picture to the desktop and from there we can attache to SKYPE.... but that is not really the point ...

from Iphoto you could attach directly - we should be able to do that also from Photos .... when applications replace other applications because of so called PROGRESS we should at the very least have the same functionality as the OLD ONE....

Thanks for posting the same question, if you find an answer (other than exporting pictures to other files) please let me know I would appreciate it.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? This is irritating. I can't get Skype to access Photos - only iPhoto. I can't even find out if this is my problem with setting up access to Photos or if its a Skype/Microsoft problem since Microsoft always tries to make life difficult for Mac users.

I can't believe this problem still hasn't been solved. I have it too. even more frustrating is that I can't seem to import any photos into imovie any more because it only recognises photobooth... no option that i can find for even saving to desktop and doing it manually... any ideas or solutions yet anyone?

Totally agree - have the same problem.. Photos seems to have extensions (facebook, etc..) - is it possible to add Skype to that list by any chance?

export the photos to a desktop folder and use from there
