Not able to send photos in Skype using Photos app

Hi,

Since I have upgraded to Photos app (Photos is being indicated now as my system photo library) I can no longer send photos to my contacts in Skype using Photos app. When I open the window to send photo in Skype in Media folder in the menu on the left I see: Music subfolder, Photos subfolder, Movies subfolder. When I click on Photos subfolder I can see only Photo Booth photos and nothing else (previously I could see and select there photos from iPhoto). I cannot drag/drop the photos from Photos app to the Skype conversation as it used to be with iPhoto.

Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

I agree with you. I have been asking the same question. of course we can save any picture to the desktop and from there we can attache to SKYPE.... but that is not really the point ...

from Iphoto you could attach directly - we should be able to do that also from Photos .... when applications replace other applications because of so called PROGRESS we should at the very least have the same functionality as the OLD ONE....

Thanks for posting the same question, if you find an answer (other than exporting pictures to other files) please let me know I would appreciate it.
