Garageband lost projects!?

OK so I ASSUMED after backing up my iphone via itunes.

then restoring it via itunes.

that it backs EVERYTHING up????

but all my garageband projects are gone!?????

please dont reply if your going to suggest icloud as a solution.

i was told itunes backup was a carbon COPY of everything on my phone.... So...

this is so bad. Im heartbroken. All my time on garageband.

please someone help.
