Q: No cluster found

when I send a video from Final Cut Pro to compressor it won't batch or process, I get an error message that the job could not be submitted because the cluster could not be found.

THis his is confusing because I had no problem the last time I processed a video.

What's the version of Compressor and Final Cut? Are you running Snow Leopard?

First suggestion would be to download and run Digital Rebellion's Compressor Repair.

If that doesn't work,…reset Qmaster in its Preference Pane. (I believe that version also had a toolbar menu item for Qmaster, but I can't remember what it was called. Start there and then use the pref pane.)

    If the above doesn't work…

In your home Library/Application Support, you'll find a Compressor folder. If you have custom settings that you'd like to save, drag the Settings folder out of the Compressor folder to some other location. Put the Compressor folder in the Trash. When you relaunch the app, it will be rebuilt. You can later (with the app closed) replace the Settings folder in the Finder.

    Good luck.
