Invisible apps on mac

Hi guys,

So a few hours after I downloaded chrome, google drive, gmail, maps from google randomly popped up into my launchpad. I tried to remove them but i couldn't. I had to go on the search bar and manually type in youtube to find each individual app and then delete them. The problem, is that i watched a few videos on chrome, and then when i tired youtube into the search bar it seems like it downloaded all the videos i watched, its weird it had some youtube files.

I would like to know if there are more invisible files that I need to delete and would like to know if these files are related to google :

Can you uninstall Google Chrome and other apps by dragging them to trash and check what is remaining?

Chrome has these removal instructions…

Search the Google site for removal instructions for Drive, Gmail etc if you are concerned. Their instructions seem to cover the correct files to remove. I think these apps have been bundled with Chrome for a while now.

Thanks, I deleted some more files by doing the ''Go To Folder''.

Now , from what I can see here , : https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375081?hl=en it says there is a google drive folder. What do I have to search on the ''go to folder'' to find it ?

If you never opened the Drive app I doubt you ever had a Google Drive folder.

Google Drive is like Dropbox i.e. a folder that syncs to the internet. It may be stored on your Desktop or in your home folder. I doubt Google hide it because it is meant to be easily accessed by users. I haven't used it on OS X so I can't say what it is called, sorry. It seems to be called 'My Drive' or 'Google Drive' in their help, so search for both.
