macbook pro does not see disc/can't eject

So I've had a DVD in my drive for the past 4 days. The past 3 I have watched it, but this morning the mac isn't recognizing that the disc is present.

I have tried a few methods to eject with no luck. My mac is 3 years old running on OS Yosemite. I've never had an issue with the drive.

I've tilted it, tried sticking another disc in on an angle to see if I could get it unstuck, rebooted twice (once while holding the Option key). Need ideas- I need my workout DVD to play!
