I keep getting error code: 13014

I have an ipod touch 2nd gen, my laptop is a sony vpcee25fx x64, I have used this laptop over and over and never had any issues, however about two weeks ago I purchased several songs and tried to sync them to my ipod, well I got an error code 13014, my ipod keeps repeating this error over and over as long as my ipod is connected to my laptop, I have removed itunes several times with no luck, I have done a hard start on my ipod several times a day but nothing seems to work. I purchased a new cable, my battery is fine, i just can't sync, oh yea for some reason the few times I'm allowed to get most of my songs back my ipod storage bar shows i have no more storage, I know my ipod holds over 9800 plug songs because that's what was on my ipod before all these errors started. any help is appreciated.

First thank you for your quick reply, however I may have forgotten to mention that I have tried just about anything one can imagine to clear up this issue, I tried the reset thingy a million times with no luck,, I tried a new cord, a different computer, I even tried it at my home in Louisiana which has a different internet provider, any other helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
