Bluetooth dropout - Yosemite 10.10.4

Serious Bluetooth dropout issues with MBP & MacMini running 10.10.4.

Only bluetooth device connected is Apple owns' BT keyboard.

Basically, will continually drop the connection briefly on keyboard which is 6 inches from computer. Lag on keystrokes leads to omitted characters. (And I aint the fastest typist with my 3 finger approach!)

Issue got worse since last OSX update. Both machines were scratch clean installs with release of Yosemite.

Seriously frustrating!

I can see it becoming a 2 finger approach to Apple soon. Cause I'm getting well fedup with issue after issue after issue. Bring back Snow Leopard - when things did work and were nice to play with.

I've had this issue constantly with my iMac dropping my Magic Mouse connection. This is very simplistic, but what ultimately worked for me was removing the device (mouse) & re-adding via System Preferences.

This article is a couple years old, but outlines all the other simple things you can try to fix the issue http://osxdaily.com/2013/05/06/fix-bluetooth-device-disconnecting/

Probably a good reference if you ultimately have to take it to the Genius Bar and say, "Look, I've tried EVERYTHING."
