So you can also see a new partition is created, but with name "Untitled" in Disk Utility?

From what it seems. This is a problem related to a recent update to MacOS or the BootCamp software itself. Otherwise how can you explain that so many people just started having this out of the blue. If you search on Google there's no reference to this problem anywhere other than this thread. So this must be something that just started happening.. It must be an update gone wrong or something of that sort. This is an apple file missing, I doubt Microsoft Windows will have a file called AppleSSD.sys among their very own files. This is a BootCamp installation file. I wish some sort of engineer could take a look at this.

It makes sense. I originally thought I am the only unlucky one.

Digital driver signature enforcement can be disabled. This driver in 5.1.5766 BC Drivers package is correctly signed.

Option 1 is to get the 5.1.x driver and replace it using Windows Safe Mode.

Option 2 is to use this method.

    Thank you for your reply.

But I am not able to boot from windows.

Either safe mode or other modes.

Is there another way to disable that without going into windows?

Apple said nothing about the error, other than once the MAC reboots into windows and the error appears, its a windows problem. If the error was happening whilst booting under OSX then they could help

UPDATE:  I have just come from having a chat with MS tech support and they have told me...."It's an Apple problem; you have to go back to them and get them to change Bootcamp to work properly..."  I did try to explain when the problem actually happens and the tech guy said "MAC install files are in a different format; DMG etc so MAC's cannot run .EXEs so cannot do the install.."  It was at that point I asked to speak with someone that knew about bootcamp and I explained that MS actually have their own support page with instructions on how to install windows using Bootcamp.  Basically it was a long conversation going nowhere fast...

I am about to try the digital sig thing....however I may try finding the older version of the file as I can replace it on the bootable USB before I do the install. I found it in one of the installer directories. It's worth a go

Oh that's great!  Just when I have found out about Bootcamp and want to use an old Windows 7 license, which I will then upgrade to Windows 10. I just need to have it last long enough to upgrade it!  Give us one more day Apple, please!!

@Loner-T - if I can find a copy of the applessd.sys file, can I just copy it to the USB i have just created and then it will be installed as part of the windows install process without having to bother going into safe mode etc?  Besides, I think I already tried to boot into safe mode, but it can't even do that. It fails completely to load

What do you mean by "older version of the file"? You mean a older .iso?

and are you able to go into windows with any mode?
For me, I will keep going to the error page with any mode.

So, I am not able to go into windows desktop.

"replace appleSSD.sys". I want to do that too, but I can't find one

I have tried 4 times today with different images, always same result.

Hopefully a solution will come up! I would like to run windows 10, but needs my windows 7 first.

Apple release windows 10 drivers for bootcamp yesterday I believe, might be that's the issue?
