iTunes gift card
Purchased iTunes gift card in Germany, but I cannot use it on my US iTunes. This is not stated on the gift card. Now I am stuck with a gift card I cannot use.
Sell it to someone in Germany.

Correct. Gift cards are country specific, and can only be redeemed on accounts that are set to the same country the Gift card was sold in.
Sell the Gift card to someone in Germany that can use it.

Yes it is. Small Print on the back, under the instructions, states where the Gift card is valid. For a German card, its possible it was in German, but it is stated.
