On my phone i see a notification that my child has requested to download one of their school apps, but unless i click the request at the top of the screen immediately as i see it, i can't find the requests anywhere on the phone ... where do i go to find the requests she has sent on my phone?

Check the Apple article below, specifically the section about "Make or decline a purchase". Under that section you will see a link about approving in your iOS device and if you click on that link you will see that the approval will go to your Notifications. You can access your Notifications from any screen, including the Lock screen. Just swipe down from the top of the screen. The request should be there.... Hopefully this will solve your issue.

Sorry for the delayed thx you - I had read the how to's many times but had no clue about the notification centre ... which was what i was looking for, so again thx you....
Of course when i mentioned this to my wife and daughter they both said " Oh that was what you were looking for?" "We use that all the time".... grrrr
