Hi. So currently I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my Mid 2010 13 inch model. Everything appears to be running smoothly, however I've been looking to upgrade. On the boot camp compatibility list, it says my device can only run up to Windows 7 64 bit. Would my device still work if I made the upgrade?

Assuming this is on a 2010 13" MacBook Pro 2.4, sounds like you installed EFI Windows. Your Macintosh does not support EFI Windows and will fail at critical points, such as enabling hardware acceleration. Install Windows through BIOS emulation (non-EFI).
Hola ! Llegue al paso 6. Instalo los drivers (341.95-desktop-win10-64bit-international) reconoce mi hardware, arranca pasan unos segundos, mi pantalla se pone en negro y la pc se reinicia! No se instalan nunca los drivers Nvidia. Que hago mal? Alguna solución?
Nvidia 327.23 no me reconoce hardware por eso utilizo el 341.95
Tambiénutilice Bootcamp drivers (WindowsSupport) instalados correctamente, funciona todo menos display y control de brillo tampoco.

I'm still chugging along with 10 on the old 2010 MacBook Pro 13" 2.4. Works great.
About half a year ago, my HDD cable failed so I replaced that. Turns out the bad cable was responsible for the DPC BSODs I was getting and stuttering video (data streaming problems) I blamed on the newer video driver.

It's crashing because Windows is installed in EFI mode. rEFIt or rEFInd will let you boot the installer in BIOS mode.

I can already see that you installed EFI Windows again. You need to legacy boot the Windows installer with rEFIt.
What is your installation media?
i'm installing from usb 8gb.
i didn't quite get what you mean by legacy boot.
rEFIt is too old. Try rEFInd.

I didn't know you hadn't already done this. The easiest/fastest way to do this is with Boot Camp assistant.
This article is wrong. Windows 10 has no trouble with a hybrid MBR.
Also, disk utility will do this for you if you create a FAT32 partition (which you must do to install Windows).
