Are you referring to the new Music App on iPhones or iTunes on your computer?  If the phone, they revamped the App, some like it, some not. May want to search for the guide and see what options are available....

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately neither of your checks at the bottom of the reply relate to me. It did not solve my problem and it was not helpful. Why would a computer system developer remove a search feature? The next question is how to get back to a prior version of iTunes on my iPhone 6. I am really disappointed!

For whatever it is worth I don't like the new App either, much preferred the old one just like you.

Here is the guide in case you want to look at it.  Using the new Music app - Apple Support

Another thought is that you could send Feedback to Apple with your thoughts. If enough people do that they may make changes...

Thank you elcpu. I sent my feedback like you suggested. I also do not like the new "Music" app as it assumes I will want to subscribe to it. I have a music library on over 20,000 songs which is enough to keep me "tuned in" for a very long time. Thank you Apple for thinking you know what I like better than I.

Any suggestions for a replacement app?

I would go to the App Store and check the ratings and the comments people make. That is how I have decided between apps before. Of course if they include a free trial then there is nothing to loose in trying one. Spotify and iHeartRadio radio get pretty good reviews....

elcpu - I finally found the very small inverted "^" (I can't find the down facing character on my keyboard) that takes me to the alternate menu. Can a developer make it any more difficult?

Gee, I guess I did not clearly understand your initial post, my bad!!! On my phone I have my music sorted by Albums and next to it is the down facing arrow and I knew that all along. Oh well, maybe some of my comments above were of some help....

    Spotify is still better IMO.

Yes I will check out alternatives, I don't think I want to pay $10 a month to listen to my own music.
