Upgrading Tiger software on Mac Book

Is it possible to upgrade a Mac Book Pro 17" currently running on Tiger 10.4 to newer software and if so how pls

Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

OS 10.6 Snow Leopard is available from the Apple Store:

and in the UK:

but nobody knows for how long it will be available.


To use iCloud you have to upgrade to at least Mountain Lion:
