Please describe how you imported the file from your camera to your computer.

Also, open the DVCPRO HD file in QuickTime and then open the Movie Inspector. Post a screenshot of what the Inspector reports.

Not that I agree with the junk comment, I can imagine your frustration…now that I have a better idea o what you were describing: Compressor cannot mux the audio and video files.

If you have installed the latest (2.0.1) version of Pro Video Formats, FCP X will bring your files in muxed. You can then output them in whatever flavor of Pro Res you want –  either directly or via Compressor.
