error 53 iphone 6
Hardware error you will need to get it serviced by Apple.
apple will not help if you replaced any hardware on your phone. they act like you have a disease or something went to the apple store in chula vista ca there customer support was so terrible.
my iphone 6 still under hardware warranty but they would not help me at all basically have a 800 dollar paper weight terrible i been a apple customer for 5 years never have a i seen something like this...
You are correct, you voided your warranty and Apple will not touch it. Same applies to almost any electronics manufacturer. So are you saying the support was terrible because they wouldn't work on it or did they beat you up or something?

Of course not, this has always been the case. You open the iPhone, then you deal with the issues created by opening the phone.
To be more precise you created an $800 paperweight. Buy an Samsung next, repeat the same actions and then when you post in Samsung's forum you won't be able to say you've never seen something like this.
thats not the issue all my photos and data was deleted apple should at least warn you that changing anything and trying to update will destroy all your data photos off your phone ...
Your issue with photos and data is completely different from the topic of this thread. If you have been properly backing up your photos and data it should be no problem in recovering them.
Are you serious? Apple should warn you that things might not work if you bork your phone? People like you are the reason they have to put warning labels on irons warning you not to iron your clothes while you're wearing them...
lol error 53 is just another way for apple to stick it to the little repair shops trying to make a living and people that dont have the warranty for them to be left with no other option than to buy another iphone apple dont even give you a option to buy a home button what is someone to do with no more warranty.,,,
someone figures they go buy one then apple bricks there phone basically punishing the already poor person just trying to get there iphone working again,,,
deggie its all the same error 53 does do that delete all your data
No, error 53 is related to a security issue in the Touch ID on the iPhone. It reports that something is amiss and someone may be trying to bypass the security on that phone. If Apple allowed the non-authorized repair sites to replace the Touch ID with a replacement they would become the perfect place to go to for bypassing security on the iPhone and make Touch ID a worthless feature. You will find that all companies using these biometric measures have the same rules.
If you had taken your iPhone with the cracked screen to an Apple Store or AUTHORIZED repair site you could have had it fixed. If you had gone to a reputable 3rd party site they would have told you they could not obtain a replacement Touch ID or they would have been smart enough to use your original Touch ID. They didn't.
This whole issue was caused by YOU. Accept your responsibility and move on.
No, error 53 does not delete your data it just reports that the phone cannot be restored because the security has been breached. It is possible you may be able to access the data using 3rd party software such as TouchCopy or PhoneView or iExplorer. If the 3rd party repair site you used saved your old Touch ID they can put it back into your phone which will solve your error 53 problem. If you are a reasonable person and backed up your iPhone there is extraction software that can access it.
I Totally agree. I don't have this problem with my iphone, however when I read about it I thought that it is just WRONG on Apple's part to shut iPhones down with the Error 53 message. I own Apple everything (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV, Mac Book Pro), however I am thoroughly disgusted to read what Apple are doing to people with the flimsy excuse of 'security'. If this did happen to me I would be straight into the local Consumer Affairs office asking them to take action.
