Boot camp update broke Windows 10 resolution

I updated my boot camp drivers in Windows 10 just a little while ago and now everything in Windows is gigantic. The scaling is all wrong. I have my macbook pro hooked up to an external monitor running at 1920x1080 resolution, which is what Windows says it is set at. However as I said everything is huge. I even have to maximize my browser on my 24" screen just to see all sides of any web page. What happened? Late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro.

I too had this happen to my 2014 Macbook Pro. To fix it do the following:

  1. Right click on the desk and choose "Display settings"
  2. Click on the "Advanced display settings" link
  3. Click on the "Advanced sizing of text and other items" link
  4. Click on the "set a custom scaling level" link in the "Change size of items" paragraph
  5. Change to option in the drop down to 100%
  6. Log out and log back in
