I want to see how many GBs my songs take up so I can decide how much memory a new iPod Touch would have to have, but nothing under "View" or "File" in iTunes 11.4 seems to show that, and I don't know where to go to "Get Info" on iTunes. The only solved question I found that relates is for 11.0, which doesn't seem to be the same. Thanks for any information!

Look for the option to View/Show status bar usually found under the View menu.

Kappy: That's what the answer to the question re 11.01 said, but I don't seem to have a View/Show Status bar (see below). Tried the drop-down arrow for Show View Options, but that just allows me to sort by title.
Then look under one of the other menus. Apple has moved it around from time to time.
Limnos: Thanks--I looked at the Show or hide the Status Bar and Sidebar section (Show Sidebar and Show Status Bar), but knowing just the number of items and playback time wouldn't tell me how much space in GBs my library takes up. (I also don't seem to have those options; see screenshot for Kappy, above.)
Kappy and Limnos: Guess what, they did move it--down to the bottom. Thanks to you both--I would never have looked around otherwise. 🙂

Um, I use iTunes 7.5 and it is there at the bottom. I don't think they "moved" it there in 11 unless they keep on switching it back and forth. 😉
You're probably right. Whether they moved it or didn't move it, though, it should be a whole lot easier to find--and the article might have mentioned the fact that such basic information, which Mac users are used to getting on drop-down menus (e.g., "Get Info"), happens to be somewhere else. Anyway, thanks for helping out!
