AdobeIPCBroker

Does anybody know what AdobeIPCBroker is? It is running constantly and taking up space, sending info back to Adobe I am guessing. I have Adobe's CC, using Photoshop. Things seem pretty buggy, don't know if this has anything to do with it?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

The post says, "Okt4vi4 AdobeIPCBroker is normal process associated with installing the Creative Cloud desktop software included with your membership." How much more specific do you want?

Personally, I'd like to understand why this process need to run 24/7 rather than only when we're running Adobe software. Adobe has at least 8 processes that continue to run even after you have disabled Sync and quit out of all of their apps. Unless I want Sync enabled, they should have exactly 0 processes running until such a time as I'm running one of their apps.
