"You can’t sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons"
This is what it tells me when I try input my password into iCloud, under 'System Preferences'. It says underneath this that I need to go reset my password (which I've done about 4 times now, with no luck).
The problem is, I recently changed my email address. I then changed my primary apple id email address to my new one, and deleted my old one.
Although I can now login to iCloud through Safari with my new email address just fine, it won't let my turn it on under 'system preferences'.
In fact, it still has my old email address that is no longer my apple ID. You can see it here;
And here is what it looks like after I've inputed my password;
I tried signing out of iCloud, so that I could maybe sign up again with my new email and it would work. But it won't even let me sign out. It just says that the password I've inputed is wrong (it's not).
I don't really use iCloud, but things like this annoy me. Plus when I open the Contacts app, it comes up with a window saying that it can't connect to iCloud because there is a problem with my email address (the old one - ajnwright0101@googlemail.com).
I've tried making ajnwright0101@googlemail.com my primary email address and apple ID, and then trying all this again, but even then it doesn't work.
Can someone help me, please? This is driving me insane.
