Weird keyboard problem - "7" "U" "J" "M" keys not working properly

The "7" "U" "J" "M" keys work sometime. I took it in to an apple store for repair. They replaced my keybord ($163 includes labor). I am still having the same problem. Also, my password contained one of the non-working keys (bummer), so I purchased an apple bluetooth keyboard and I can use the keys on the wireless keyboard when they do not work on my laptop. Called apple suport, they said take it back to the apple store. Any clues what is going on? And, yes I have not spilled anything on the laptop. Nobody else uses this laptop.

This will happen if you depress the Num Lock key.
You should see a light under it after it is
depressed. Depress it again to get it back to
normal.

Num lock key not depressed, I should have mentioned the obvious.

I get that problem routinely on our iBook Clamshell, although the keys that don't work are always the 5, t,h, n, and the apostrophe. I've tried all the software remedies, but the only thing that ever works is replacing the keyboard.
