Q: how do i connect my macbook pro to my hp photosmart 7520 printer using bluetooth?

I am trying to connect my macbook pro to my hp photosmart 7520 via blue tooth. I can't seem to get my computer to recognize printer.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), iOS 8.4.1, need help w/ bluetooth divice

I have the photosmart 5520 series and i had to put my wifi password into the printer and into my phone/laptop and if i needed to print a file would select the printer and it would work.i am not sure that it is possible to connect via bluetooth, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I do not think you can connect a printer via Bluetooth. Wi-fi, yes for many printers.
