I have my first ipod, and added into my apple profile, Then I bought iphone 5s. in my iphone profile, my ipod have been listed, when I added my iphone 5s, it cant work. It shows that my appled id same with my ipod. so it need new apple id. Is it right or one device must have one apple id (can't combine)?
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2
appleID is you in the apple world if you use both devices they should have the same appleID
my iphone 4, ipad2 and ipod 3g and imac all use the same appleID as they were meant
my wife has her own appleID for her devices

If both of the devices are yours and you are using both of them, you want them both to have the same Apple ID.
added iphone into my profile while i have ipod, shows same apple id
