Can I run Windows 10 on my 2012-mid 13 inch macbook based on OS X 10.8?

As long as your Mac meets the requirements in Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support, you can run W10. If your OS X version is old, you may need to upgrade it to get to a newer version, so you can get to Bootcamp Assistant version 5.1.
