Can't locate Oscilloscope Plug-in

Hi all,

I have been trying to install an Oscilloscope plug-in, so that I can get a visualization of waveforms for my softsynths. However, I have not been able to successfully locate it in Logic once I install or add it to the proper location.

Here is how I think this is supposed to work:

1. I create a software instrument track and load SynthMaster, for example, in the Instrument slot of the channel strip.

2. Then I click on Audio FX in the same channel strip that I have the instrument loaded.

3. From the drop-down menu, scroll down to Audio Units, and chose the manufacturer name. At this point, I can't locate the Oscilloscope to insert it.

I first tried sMexoscope, but I don't believe it is compatible with Logic Pro X, as it has not been updated since 2007.

I then tried Oszillos Mega Scope 1.5 Beta 4. The installer installed a Oszillos Mega Scope.component file in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components, and a Oszillos Mega Scope.vst file in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST.

I have checked the Plug-in Manager several times, and I do not see Oszillos Mega Scope in the list of Plug-ins. My other 3rd party plug-ins appear in the manager.

Here are some things that I have tried; rebooted the computer, copy the component file and vst file to the the user component and vst folder locations. Reinstalled the Oscilloscope.

Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong, or maybe point me in the direction of a good free, simple to use Oscilloscope?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
