Aug 15, 2015 12:37 PM in response to ccicesby Loner T,You can get W10 drivers for your Mac which are BC version 6 drivers. Please see Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support .
The 5.1.5621 drivers are BC version 5.1.

Aug 15, 2015 2:12 PM in response to Loner Tby ccices,This is the article I followed.. but this step..
- After installation is complete, open Apple Software Update for Windows again and install available updates to make sure the Windows Support Software (drivers) for Boot Camp are up to date. As part of driver installation, your Mac might restart one or more times.
never showed any updates and boot camp still shows as version 4.0

Aug 15, 2015 2:52 PM in response to ccicesby Loner T,Using System requirements to install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support as a guide, if you are still on BC 4.0, you were running Windows 7 32-bit. If you upgraded to W10, it was 32-bit W10 which was installed. The BC 6 drivers are 64-bit only.

Aug 16, 2015 7:44 AM in response to ccicesby Rudegar, download and manually install the content of the bootcamp driver zip file

Aug 16, 2015 8:43 AM in response to Rudegarby ccices,So, that was where I started. I downloaded the drivers but when I went to install, I got an error saying I needed Win7 installed. Since it is already upgraded I seem to be stuck.
I tried to use Boot Camp Assistant to download the required drivers, but that does not work as there is an error saving it to a USB drive.
I do have the zip downloaded from the link I first posted and those are the ones that say require win7.
Totally in a catch 22 here.
All I want to do is upgrade my bootcamp to work with win10. Doesn't seem possible at this time. I can still boot into windows or Mac at startup but track pad is not working, no usb 3.0 etc.
