After the audio books were moved to iBooks when updating to iOS 8.4 the playback position is not retained.
If I play and audio book, listen to some music and then return to the audio book; it restarts at the beginning.
I have verified that the "Remember Playback Position" check box is "checked".
Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

I have exactly the same problem in IOS 8.4.1. iBooks is not retaining the bookmark or playback position for audio books. I have tried reloading the books and ensured they are in .m4b format but the problem remains. I would welcome some help too.

Same problem here. The iBooks app also doesn't show the playback position for me, it always just sits at 0:00.
