Family plan share playlist and recent music?

Hi Joe,

Apple should make Apple Family Plan sharing more easier to share playlists and music with the members. When I download a song there needs to be an area where the members can see my downloads, not just purchased downloads. This is because we have access to all the free music downloads as well through the family plan. Also we should be able to share a playlist and if I update it with a song it updates everyone who has access to that playlist so they have the newest songs in that shared playlist automatically.

I am experiencing the same problem with my son's playlists... Was there ever a solution to this problem?

My sons playlists hijack MY phone. I do not want his playlists. Also, the top 25 songs played are his, on my phone! This is so frustrating. Also, I have a large volume of digital music, but, when I play an album from Apple Music, in some cases it plays a wrong version(often live) found only on my collection! What gives??

I understand that you have questions about Family Sharing and if that service would allow you to share playlists or see recently played music from other Family Sharing members. Family Sharing will not share playlists or show others’ recently played music, but it does give you the ability to download the purchases from other Family Sharing members’ accounts.
