What Version of iLife for Leopard?

I just bough a retail copy of Mac OS X Leopard, and upgraded my iBook G4. Now I want to install iLife. But I don't know which version! I looked at a picture of iPhoto in the "Welcome to Leopard" book, and it didn't look like iLife '09, and the book and OS was written in 2007, so it couldn't be iLife '08. And it didn't look like iLife '06, either! I know I should just install iLife '09, but I like running versions of apps released with or at the same time as operating systems because they always run the fastest, and for other reasons as well. So what version of iLife fits my needs here? Please help!
