Q: Macbook Pro Late 2013 Heat issue

Hi,

I have been issued since i've got this notebook a year and half back. When i'm launching something like Java game or flash or even just a HTML5 video playback... My temperature gets to 80 degrees(celsius), or more. Is this normal behaviour?

Also, since a few weeks i think my backplate is getting loose, when i press on my right speaker i hear a 'click'. But since i haven't got the tools for screwing it back... Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Runaway applications can shorten battery runtime, affect performances and increase heat and fan activity

    Activity monitor https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203184

    Reset SMC.

Choose the method for “On Mac notebooks with non-removable battery”.

You can get proper screw driver from OWC/Macsales.com.

It probably is normal.  80°c is not that hugh a temperature for resource intensive applications.

You need a #00 Phillips driver which should be available in a good hardware store.

    Ciao.
