I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro 13" computer with the faulty NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics card. Because NVIDA is footing the bill for all repairs, I'd think that I could get the repair done at Apple still, even though the extension ended 3 years ago. Also, I remember seeing that Apple is obligated to provide repairs for all computers within 7(I live in California (Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support ))years of their discontinuation. If this is the case, then how would I go about convincing for them to give me the repair?
In the meantime, I'm suffering from computer withdrawal...
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Actually 10.11
