I have an iPhone 5 and I've been using Google Maps because it offers a menu option to avoid highways (or "freeways"). Does Apple Maps always offer at least one route that avoids highways or freeways?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be such an option for now. So for those instances that I prefer a route that avoids highways, I also have no choice but to use Google Maps. Hopefully we will see that option in a future update.
Does Apple Maps always offer a route that doesn't use highway?
