Q: iOS 8.4.1 Safari Links not clickable

Having the same problem here with a simple CSS menu.

the a:active CSS has no effect on use.

oh and the CSS should read: a:active{ opacity: 1 !important;} ---misplaced semicolon

Darn! I was hoping you were talking about some other JS solution that I could try.

What I found with FastClick is that it still ignored my submenu overlays, and in fact if there was a link within the main body that was physically underneath the submenu link I was trying to click, FastClick would trigger that other link instead!

we are using a javascript and css mixed menu and the above solution does not work;

a:active{ opacity: 1 !important;}

I had the same problem, what worked for me was.

a:hover {opacity:1; filter:alpha(opacity=100);}

if you are using any css frameworks then probably best to put this line as the last line in your css file and add in the !important declaration for both properties.

No joy...

However, converting from using PureCSSMenu to FlexNav has fixed the problem. Other than adding the flex-nav.js library and corresponding CSS file; I didn't change anything except the class of my menu items and it started working.

Something surrounding the CSS from PureCSSMenu is likely the culprit for me.

We have same issue with our application built with phongeap and angular Js...none of click events works after upgading to 8.4.1..Anyone working with same framwork and having same issue could help us with the best solutions...

Our hybrid app is using Ratchet, Jquery and Knockout. Has issues with events firing off on some, not all, of our buttons. Installed fastclick, and now all is working. Deadline coming up, so I guess that's the solution for now.
