Q: my iphone 5c is freezing up, and the screen is turning pinkish red almost immediately after starting. Have tried rebooting, and closing open pages.

From your post I understand that the screen of your iPhone is displaying lines along with being discolored.  Since you have already restarted your device and the issue persists, the next step is to restore your iPhone.

If you see lines, missing sections, discoloration, or poor image quality

1. Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, force restart your device.
2. If this doesn't work, restore your device.
3. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.
