I can't upgrade my iP4 v7.1.2 to iOS 8...

I can't upgrade my iP4 from iOS 7.1.2 to iOS 8. Is my version of IOS the max I can get on a iP4?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2

Yes. You are at the highest iOS that can be run on an iPhone 4.
