The browser application on my Mac won't display the map. The application displays the devices on a tan background with no street features.
At first, I thought it might be my browser (Firefox 30.0.3), then I tried Safari...same thing. To then rule out my computer, I asked my wife to check on her computer (another Mac Air).....same thing.
Are the maps down? Been like this for two days.

It is working fine on my Windows computer, using IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
You gave me an idea. I had not checked it on a Windows machine. Here's a screen shot...same problem. No map features, just a tan background.
Unless it's an iCloud settings problem, then it must be an account issue (Apple shutting me off). Very strange.
That's three separate computers that have this problem, and three browsers (Firefox, Safari, MS Edge)
Not sure, but I've not experienced any issues, and I checked it on all 3 of my browsers before I responded to the thread. Try clearing history in the browser and try again.
What happens when you change the view to Hybrid or Satellite? (bottom right-hand corner)

Mine is working fine on Firefox. Took a couple of seconds for it to load, but it did load....

Done all of those. Clearing Browser (all settings, cookies, history, passwords, etc). Also tried zooming in and out, toggling view (Satellite, Hybrid, Standard).
This problem just started 2 days ago. At first I figured it just must be a service outage.
Well, I cannot answer for your geographical location, but everything is alright here in Illinois. I've not experienced any issues. Where are you at?

Maybe you guys have already fallen off the map! đ Just kidding. I don't know, it is working still for me, and as Gail mentioned for her too, and she is on the east coast. I cannot think of anything else to recommend to look at.
Sounds like it very well might be a geographical issue. Considering the wildfires that are raging in SoCal right now, that could be a contributing factor. Things are OK here in Maine, and Chris has verified that Illinois is OK too. Do you have anyone else outside of your household but in your vicinity that could tell you if they are experiencing the same issue?

It must have been an Apple side outage. The problem resolved itself today without further input or changes to my systems.

I have the same problem and in all modes (standard, hybride and satellite) and both with Firefox v40 and Internet Explorer v11 on my Windows 8 pc. I Works fine on ny iPad og iPhone Ios. How can it be, that I cannot find any message on this error on Apple support site? What do we do?
