How do I use Macromedias Fireworks 8 in Automator?

I have a lot of .png-files which I first need to change to .gif-files and then change Drop Shadow-specifications on. I wish to use Macromedias Fireworks 8 in Automator to do this - but have not been able to find out how to use Fireworks in Automator.

Any help to find scripts for this action will be much appreciated.

Hi Doctor Wishbone

Sorry to disappoint you, but Fireworks 8 (at least the free trial version) isn't AppleScriptable, which pretty well precludes the existence of any Automator actions for it.

(There are none at Automator World, which is where I would expect to find any.)

I think you'd have to use FW's batch scripting capability, which is outside the realm of these boards - try adobe's user forums.

Good luck!
