Q: The 'Get Album Artwork' Button Does Nothing

I have a problem. This used to be the way I would get all of my album artwork for all of my songs. But a couple months ago I started to notice that this wouldn't work for every album but only some. No big deal I thought, probably just a small error. Now here I am today and this method doesn't work for ANY of my albums. It's really frustrating and I have no idea what to do to fix this.

    Hello nav_g,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are having trouble using the Get Album Artwork button. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

If songs or albums are missing artwork

If some songs or albums downloaded to an iOS device from your iCloud library are missing album artwork, follow the steps below:

    1. Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.
    2. Right-click or Control-click on the album missing the artwork and choose Get Album Artwork from the pop-up menu.
    3. Once iTunes has completed processing the album artwork, update iTunes Match. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose Store > Update iTunes Match.
    4. After iTunes Match has finished updating, launch the Music app on your iOS device.
    5. Locate the songs that are missing artwork, and delete them from your device.
    6. After you've deleted the song, download the item again from your iCloud library by tapping on the download   icon to the right of the song.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Have a nice day

Hello mario49. It seems I have forgotten to tell you that I don't use iTunes Match for my music library. I manually add the songs to my device by connecting it to my computer. I don't really use iCloud for anything to be honest with you. For me it just seems that when I choose Get Album Artwork from the pop-up menu, nothing happens. No 'Recieving Artwork From iTunes' no 'Processing Album Artwork' just nothing happening at all. I tried deleting and reinstalling my iTunes hoping that would help, but sadly it did nothing. Thank you.
