Q: Email not connecting to incoming server with Comcast on iPhone 6

My comcast.net email account is not connecting to the incoming server at Comcast on my iPhone 6 since this morning. I can send messages on the iPhone, and I can both receive and send messages on my iMac. However, when trying to pull up messages on the iPhone, the screen contains no old emails and simply comes back with "can't reach the incoming server, recheck the settings". I've been on the phone with Comcast, checked all Comcast server connections, reset the account, powered iPhone on and off, and did a reset. Nothing worked. I see several others have had this problem today since upgrading to 8.4.1.

 

Is Apple aware of this seemingly common problem? Can anyone help?
