Q: how safe is the redeem camera for iTunes card? privacy and such? can it take your picture? what if you had something hanging from your nose? so is it safe?

    That feature is designed to be used with iTunes gift cards only, so I don't know why we should be worried about privacy . Just in case you think someone can steal your credit, remember that an iTunes gift card can only be redeemed once.

     

    Anyway, if you are worried (you shouldn't), just type the iTunes gift card code manually on your device.

    No i mean what if you just got out of the shower or you are in your undies when redeeming. does it take a pic of you or live feed tike FaceTime to apple. just seemed like it launched quick, felt shaddy.

    The redeem camera does not take any picture. It just reads an iTunes gift card code and checks the amount of money it has got to add it to your Apple ID.
