Let's spin a clock

Hi there...

At the end of a scene I'm editing, the camera comes to rest and this clock is in view.

I suppose there's any ways to skin a cat, but any suggestions on how to spin this clock forward about one hour every second with motion 5?

I would ignore the original clock.

In Motions 'Content' collection, you find this clock, close to yours ...

as psd, means it has every pointer/finger/element on a seperate layer.

Check the anchor point is on the axis, not in the middle of the finger

add a Spin behaviour - done.

Export as proRes4444 = transparency,

add to your project:

I copied the glare, to make it better 'fit' into scenery....

Probably needs a lil' distorsion to copy the view-angle ....

Glad you like it!

Funny enough, that Motions content offer such a - in my eyes! - "twin" of yours!

Otherwise, you had to prepare a screengrab, seperate finger hands etc etc

That psd=layers trick is very useful; does work in FCPX too, the psd is then displayed as a 'compound', ... but lacks the many animating options, Motion offers with its behaviors ...
